In addition to her passionate dedication to pediatric dentistry, Dr. Stimmel loves children and served as a Girl Scout troop leader for twelve years. Dr. Lisa, as her patients call her, has helped hundreds of scouts earn their dental and career badges. She sponsored one scout in earning the Gold Award, the highest honor given in Girl Scouts. Dr. Stimmel has also been a three-time guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show and is a national spokesperson for Oral-B. Additionally, she is a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and appears regularly on local television, promoting oral health. She has also served as a past President of the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Stimmel loves the challenges and rewards of practicing pediatric dentistry. Her goal is to contribute to a generation of children who enjoy going to the dentist and will reap the benefits of good childhood dental experiences throughout their lifetime.

Dr. Jenn received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Temple University Hospital, Episcopal Division, Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At Temple, she thrived in the busy clinical setting and served as Chief Resident during her second year. Upon completion of the program, the attending staff at Temple recognized Jenn’s strong clinical leadership and work ethic by presenting her with the Best Clinician Award. Licensed to practice in Colorado, Dr. Jenn is a Candidate for Certification by The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), American Dental Association (ADA), Colorado Dental Association (CDA) and the Metro Denver Dental Society (MDDS). Jenn is an ardent sports fan – especially football and tennis. She enjoys traveling our country and the world to explore different cultures. She loves the outdoors and is an avid hiker and skier and also enjoys running. Dr.
Lisa Stimmel completed her DDS at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1985.
Upon graduating, she concluded her Pediatric Residency in 1987. In 1990,
Dr. Stimmel received a Master’s degree in oral biology before relocating
to Denver, Colorado, where she has continued to specialize in pediatric
dentistry for twenty three years.
Dr. Jennifer Thompson is a native of
Colorado and is excited to return and begin practicing with Dr. Lisa.
She received her BS in biology and DDS degrees from The Ohio State
University. After attending a one-year General Practice Residency at the
Veteran’s Administration (VA Hospital) in Denver, Colorado, and three
years of general practice focused on pediatrics, Dr. Jenn began her
formal training in pediatric dentistry.
